Maxine Patsy Lou Justice Sinett, 76, of Man, joined her husband in their Heavenly home on February 4, 2016, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a short illness. She was born on May 20, 1939, at Mallory, a daughter of the late Basil James and Idella Brown Justice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny Tives Sinett; one daughter, Deborah Lynn Sinett; three sisters, Rosella Blankenship, Louise Thompson, and Carol Sue Clark; and one brother, Minness Justice. Maxine was a home maker, a wonderful mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Demeda (Jimmy) Belcher with whom she made her home, Schirald "Sherry" (Ronald) Hatfield and Patsy (Wesley) Smith, both of Glenwood; three sons, Greg (Cindy) Hatfield of Buffalo Creek, Harold "D.J." (Kelly) Sinett of Huntington, and Tives Paul Sinett of Greenville; nine grandchildren, Amber Sword, Todd Sword, Johnnie "Taz" (Tiffany) Sinett, Justin (Misty) Belcher, Brandon Hatfield, Ryan Hatfield, Darvon Christian, Julia Sinett, and Jordan Christian; 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way; one sister, Sadie Thompson of Columbus, OH; three brothers, Ora Justice and his wife, Germae, who was like a sister to Maxine, of Greenvalley, Jamie Justice of Verner, and Donald (Ann) Justice of Cleveland, OH; a special niece, Tammy Sue Toler of Baileysville; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dignity Hospice, Dr. Kathy Harvey, and all the workers on the 5th Floor for the love and compassion to extended to Maxine and her family during her illness. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2015, at Hunt Freewill Baptist Tabernacle at Hunt with Rev. P.J. Tomblin and Brother Cecil Bartram officiating. Burial will follow in Claypool Cemetery at Davin. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the church and one hour prior to services also. Pall bearers will be Jake Brown and men of the Buffalo Creek Fire Department. Honorary pall bearers will be her grandchildren.
