Maxine Emory Whitley age 92 of Malvern passed away January 30, 2018 at Encore Health Care and Rehabilitation in Malvern. She was born October 25, 1925 in Hot Springs to the lat O.C. and Ora Thomas Miller. She was married to Rev. James Olen Emory on February 26, 1940 at 32 wonderful years together who preceded her in death on June 6, 1972. She was also preceded in death by her brother Winford Miller and two sisters, Eloise Miller Barnes and Floy Jean Miller.
Survivors include her sons Douglas Emory and Kenneth Emory, three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Regency Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry George officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
