My heart is broken and heavy upon hearing of Maya´s passing. I have been friends with Agnes since our children little. Agnes frequently shares how wonderful and amazing a person Maya was and how Maya completes Peter. My deepest sympathies to Peter & Hayden, Eileen & Fred, Agnes & Steve and all of Maya´s family and friends.

I am completely heartbroken to hear about Maya´s passing. I grew up with her, and she was such a bright, kind, and genuine person. It´s devastating to know she´s gone so soon, and I can only imagine the weight of this loss for all of you.

Please know I am holding all of you close in my thoughts. I hope you can find comfort in the memories, in the love she left behind, and in each other. Her light will never be forgotten.
