Beloved wife of Peter Smith. Loving mother of Hayden Smith. Cherished daughter of Eileen nee Uzarewicz and Fred Kroll and daughter in law of Stephen and Agnes Smith. Loving sister of Nick (Carolyn) Kroll and the late Nathan Kroll and sister-in-law of Jason (Gabrielle) Smith and Daniel Smith. Proud granddaughter of the late Ruth and the late Gene Uzarewicz, the late Shayne and the late William Kroll. Fond aunt of Shane, Natalie and Saoirse. A kind and caring soul, Maya had the extraordinary gift of bringing light into the lives of others. She was a dreamer whose world was filled with adventure, beauty and endless possibilities. Maya lived a full and rich life, both before and in spite of her brain cancer battle. She was a determined fighter, courageous and brave - a warrior in every sense. Above all, Maya cherished her family and friendships. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and a deeply loyal friend.
