McCLURE DAVID GALLOWAY  October 29,1949 - January 1, 2021  
"Dave" Galloway peacefully departed this life on January 1, 2021 in Washington, DC after a lengthy illness. He was born in Washington, DC where he attended Spingarn High School. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps, completing two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a highly decorated Veteran with many medals of gallantry including the Purple Heart. He attended Prince Georges Community College and the University of Maryland. He worked at PGCC for more than 25 years and retired from Queens College of The City University of New York. Beloved husband of Yvette Carney Galloway, his wife of 27 years and four loving sons, David Jr.(Mai-Tai), Inglish, Britt and Ryan Galloway, three grandchildren, Marcus, and Carson Galloway and Shantell Powell, brother Henry (Butch) Galloway, sister Michelle Galloway, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A viewing will be held at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home on Sunday, January 17 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and Monday, January 18 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Live streaming of funeral will begin at 1:30 p.m. January 18, 2021 at www.facebook.com/fortlincolnfuneral. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery later.
