She graduated from Keystone Oaks High School in 1966 as a straight-A student and a member of the National Honor Society. She volunteered her time at Camp Living Waters, was actively involved with the Berlin Area Historical Society and looked forward to giving tours at the Glade One-Room Schoolhouse. She also served as the secretary for the Stonycreek Township Auditors. She always made a point to give back to others and lived by the mantra "kindness matters." Megan was an avid reader, historian, greatly enjoyed genealogical research, could fix just about anything, loved to travel, enjoyed collecting antiques, always had the best Christmas trees, was a good listener, lesson-giver, honesty enforcer, Good Fairy, Tooth Fairy, wonderful friend, caring neighbor to the Amish, sit-down helper, optimist, and survivor till the end. She taught us all so much. Loving mother of Sara Glessner of Pittsburgh, PA, Christopher Glessner of Mt. Lebanon, PA, and Andrew Glessner of Cleveland, OH. Devoted foster mother of Joan Bickham of Oakley, CA, and Tracey Blake of Verona, PA.
