Melanie Marnné Lawson died Friday, February 19, 2016 in Reno, NV, she was 57 years old.
Melanie was born January, 13, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada and was a lifelong Nevadan. She worked mostly in customer service, excelling at the Fitzgerald's Casino in Reno and also Wells Fargo call center. She enjoyed horseback riding, the outdoors, spontaneous adventures, collecting and painting figurines, and spending time with her soul mate, her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Thomas Lawson; her daughter Charleen Lawson; her brothers Charlie Marnné, John Marnné, Leo Richmond and their families; nephew Teece Marnné and his family; as well as her friends and she and her husband's beloved cat, Dot. She was preceded in death by her mother Charleen Marnné.
Melanie was an adventurous soul and she lived a good life. She will forever be missed.
Services will be held at Mountain View Mortuary, 425 Stoker Ave, Reno on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow.
