Melissa A. Drum, 47, of New Philadelphia, passed away Monday at her residence.
Born Sept. 7, 1974, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Karl and Marilyn Moyer Bassler, Middleport.
She was employed as a van driver for Pottsville Area School District.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jeffrey Drum, daughter, Haley Drum and companion, John Yurdock and Leah, sons, Jeffrey and Evan, all of New Philadelphia; granddaughter, Cecelia; sisters, Karla, wife of Gary Matlock, Middleport, Rebecca, wife of Joseph Leskin, Brockton; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Thomas J. Bartashus Funeral Home, New Philadelphia, with the Rev. Ronald J. Minner officiating. Viewing will be from 8 a.m. until time of service Friday. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. The family requests donations to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
