Travis, Cadie & Caroline . There simply are no words to express my deepest simpathy for your loss of your wife and mother. Melissa was my dearest friend, my soul sister, and with her passing, has left a hole in all of our hearts. Know that I am just a phone call or text away if you need anything! Melissa discussed this time with me on several occasions over the past 21 years and my friendship commitment continues to hold strong to her and you!

I am heartbroken to read of Melissa's passing. I have memories of her being a fabulous volunteer at James B. Edwards. She was a strong advocate for her daughters and loved her family with her whole heart. I send my deepest condolences to the family. God bless you all!

I met Melissa many years ago at James B. Edwards Elementary. One thing I know for sure, is that Melissa loved the students. She was always eager to substitute. Later on, she was a teacher assistant and touched the lives of so many children. I remember babysitting for her girls and crackin up at the things that they did. Travis, Caroline and Cadie, please know that I loved your mom. God loves her best!! May His peace be with you and please let me know if you need anything! Love you all.
