MELISSA ANN MURPHY, age 38, formerly of Roseville Mi died on November 2nd, 2018 Melissa leaves behind people who loved her and never stopped hoping for a brighter future including her mother Susan Payne, stepfather Robert Payne, and her brother Robert Jackson. Her much loved cat ‘Annie’ brought her joy. Her friend Elizabeth stood by “no matter what”. She is survived by her sister April Richardson (nee Murphy), husband Dan and son Quinlan. Melissa would want to be remembered for her raucous sense of humor, her skill as a hairdresser, and her love of animals, which remained intact no matter how difficult her path became. A gathering for friends and family will be held on Friday November 16th at the Cloverleaf Bar & Grill, 24443 Gratiot, Eastpointe MI 48021 between the hours of 4pm-8pm. Contributions in memory of Melissa should be sent to the Macomb Chapter of the Humane Society, 11350 22 Mile Rd, Utica, MI 48317. Arrangements entrusted to Kaul Funeral Home of Roseville. Oh my gosh Susan I am so sorry to hear about Melissa my heart goes out to you. She was as good as my daughter at one time, Although I haven't seen her in years she is and will always be in my heart. I'm sure she will truly be missed.
