Melvin Burger Obituary
Mel has resided on his 10 acres West of Lincoln since 1979. He raised hogs and then dairy goats with his daughter Connie. He retired from AT&T after 25 years as a splicing technician. Mel and his wife Eva were very involved with Grace Lutheran Church when it moved to its current location. During his retirement Mel became a licensed locksmith.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lincoln Funeral Home on Sat. Feburary 3, 2018 at 1 pm. A reception will follow at the residence. Private internment will be at a later date.

Every day that goes by it seems that it cannot be true that you gone. This year has just been a bad nightmare. I love you beyond the moon and heavens and you will always be in my heart.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I am sorry for your family's loss. Mel and my dad worked together at the phone company for many years. Even in retirement, they still got together for the "retired guys" breakfast. May your memories help you through this difficult time.
