Melvin Fried known him since my younger years and was a great neighbor on gas station alley. There was never a dull moment on Slade Avenue and Reisterstown Road. In the 70s I would walk over at night to his station and he always had a good story or something funny that happened. We just sit out front of the station watching cars go by in the summertime. He was in to bee wax pills or excited about a new vitamin that had just came out and would want me to take them.
He will be missed by a large body of people that he touched over the years and he served our country to give us our freedom that some people forget about.
Melvin Fried will be flying through the sky looking down on his family and accomplishments R.I.P my friend.
