Peggy and Girls,

We were shocked to learn today (7-16-23) of the loss of your beloved husband and Father. Cindy and I pray that you will be comforted by our greater Comforter and Savior, Jesus Christ. May the shock and sting of your loss fade with time as you are flooded with all the fond memories of your many precious years with Mel.
"The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace" (Num 6:24-26).

I remember when we all lived in Colorado, and at Halloween, Mel would sit with us in the middle of the living room and we would sort candy into piles of favorite kinds for all.
Mel was the king of trivia and Uncle Dave loved sharing brain power between them.
Did I mention he was an awesome chef in the kitchen and seemed to be into remodeling projects.
He will surely be missed and memories are so precious.
