My condolences to the family. I knew Melvin for many years. He was part of the work family at Fort Sam Houston. He was a kind person who loved his family. We will miss him. RIP Melvin.

I was saddened to hear about Melvin's passing. I had the privilege of working with him for several years at Army Medical Command on Ft Sam. Melvin was always an upbeat and happy person who brought wonderful energy to the workplace. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Melvin was a leader in High School but accomplished this with a soft touch, always fun, and spent time with our group at Alamo Heights Pool in the summer. He was steadfast with pictures of his flowers on our Burbank FB page, and we all stayed connected. He will be missed by many. May his family have peace knowing he was respected and loved by many of his friends.

I´m so sorry to hear of Melvin´s passing. He and I worked together for many, many years supporting the Army Medical Command in several different capacities. He kept our working atmosphere entertaining and I appreciated his steadiness throughout the years. He´ll be missed but remembered with gratitude and a smile.

Melvin and I shared many a Starbucks morning, afternoon & evening coffee.
He was a valuable member of Core Technology Team USAMISSA & Defense Health Agency. He was a mentor, colleague and friend. We enjoyed shooting, golfing and playing darts. He will be missed!
