Mercedes Mendez Obituary
Born in Cuba, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Sanchez) Rodriguez; wife of the late Gregorio Mendez; mother of Greg Mendez and Vivian Durand; grandmother of Gregory Mendez, Thomas Durand and Christopher Durand.
Mercedes adored her family, loved music and dancing and was an avid gardener.
Visitation will be held Thursday, 4-6 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence.
