Gene and Debbie, your beautiful daughter graced this earth with a zest and love for life most people don't see in a lifetime. I'm deeply sorry for your loss, and I will continue to pray for you both.

Meredith will always be one of my favorite people I was blessed to share part of my life with. Since the day she was taken my heart has weap for her parents and everyone else she touched.

I would like to know if she was laid to rest in TX or GA...? I wish to pay my respects as soon as possible.

My wife and I worked with Meredith at Raising Canes in DFW. When we heard this story, it was absolutely devastating. I know people always say things like this, but in this case it's totally accurate. Meredith was the most fabulous person we've ever met. She always had a smile on her face, she was quite literally a ray of sunshine whenever she was around. We are praying for her family during this most difficult time. Just know that people are thinking of you and that your daughter truly touched the lives of anyone lucky enough to have met her.

No words are truly adequate to express how I am feeling to only know of this remarkable person because of her taking this journey on and beyond. To the family thank you for sharing and writing about how she touched so many. You are in my thoughts.

Meredith was one of my favorite people in high school. She was so kind and smart. I looked to her as someone who would change the world. Although we did not stay in touch, I would check in via social media on her a few times a year. I wanted to know if she was happy. I think she was.

In the short time that I knew Meredith she was a great person full of life she lived every day to the fullest I am so sorry for your loss

Meredith was the first student to befriend my daughter when Michelle transferred to UT Dallas. My heart and prayers are with Meredith's parents as they move forward without their beautiful daughter. In 2nd Samuel: King David said these words after the death of his first born son, "He can not return to me, but I shall go to him."
