Sorry to read of Meryn's passing. While I knew him but for a short while, we were friends immediately. We exercised together with other members of a cardiac exercise health group. I valued and appreciated from his friendship,his knowledge and keen sensitivity to others.

Meryn & I exercised together, spoke to each other over the phone and met one-on-one about what we had in common - an aortic valve "issue". We considered so many factors trying to have him comfortably make a decision to get the valve repaired or replaced. He researched endlessly and I believe the decision he made was the correct one for him.
I will miss him.
