Gold Meyer "Mike" Gold, age 93, of St. Louis Park, formerly of Las Vegas. Preceded in death by son, Terry Alan Gold; sister, Bea Pink; brothers, Charles and Maurice Gold, and best friend, Arnold Grais. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Sylvia; daughter & son-in-law, Margie & Marshall Lifson; sons & daughter-in-law, Steven & Cathy Gold, Richard Gold; grandchildren, David & Alexandra Lifson, Carey & Dara Lifson, Amy & Barry Newman, Stephanie Gold, and Terry Gold; great- grandchildren, Allisa and Paige Newman and Daniel Lifson; brother- in-law & sisters-in-law, Chick & Eleanor Bell and Ruth Gold; nieces & nephews, Cooky & Gary Hoffman, Alan & Becky Weisman, Gary & Jackye Rubin, Roger & Barbara Rubin and Marvin Rubin. Mike was the creator of the advertising campaign "Which Twin has the Tony?"and he was the inventor of "Mitt-Clips" (no more lost mittens!). He owned KLUC radio and the NBC-TV station KVBC in Las Vegas, NV. His greatest passion was fishing. Graveside service WEDNESDAY, 1 PM, UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY, 70 1/2 & Thomas Ave S., Richfield. Memorials preferred to donor's favorite charity. Dear Dearest Gold Family,

We are deeply sadened by the loss of Mike. Jimmy has always felt like both he and Sylvia are closer than his own relatives. That also includes you Margie and Marshall, Steven and Cathy, and all the children,and he has always said wonderful things about Richard. To this day we miss Terry and wish he would have been at our wedding as things would certainly have changed. We know the ache in your heart that you all feel at this loss. All of us have such fond memories of Mike at the lake and Las Vegas. We all love you and hope your pain eases as you remember the long happy and healthy life he led to the fullest with his devoted wife Sylvia. Wonderful friends can never be replaced but our memories stay with us forever. We will always remember all the trips Ethel and Arnold took with Mike and Sylvia.
