On Monday, November 26, 2012. Devoted father and father-in-law of Abe, Faygie and Michael Covens, David, Shelley and Brian Therriault. Beloved soul mate of France Trubiano. Cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Stacey and Megan Covens; Arianne and Michael Rubinfeld; Ryan and Rebecca Shaffer. Former husband of Diana Rubinfeld. Predeceased by his parents and sibling who perished in the Holocaust. Special thanks to the staff of 7 North West at the Jewish General Hospital for their care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, November 29 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Tikvah Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 820 Place Stewart, St. Laurent through Sunday evening. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Israel Cancer Research Fund, (514) 481-2723.
