Micah Mosby Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 12, 2012.
A Brief Sketch of Life Micah Marshawn Mosby was born on October 19, 1992 at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, IL to Leroy Mosby, III and Christine Barnes. Micah was raised in Robbins, IL where he attended and graduated from Thomas J. Kellar Elementary School. Micah also attended Harold L. Richards High School in Oak Lawn, IL. Micah accepted Christ at an early age, and was baptized in Jesus' name at Victory Apostolic Church in 2011. Micah leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother Christine Barnes and father Leroy Mosby, III; stepmother Monica Jones-Mosby; sisters Mariah, Ikea, and Nina; brothers Austin, Jonathan, and Jevant'e; grandparents Marian and Thomas Riley, and Colleen Barnes; nieces Minah and Laila, and a host of very special uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who all played a very active role in his life. Micah completed his journey here on earth, to go home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2012 at St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond, IN. Micah touched the lives of countless people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his love for everyone throughout his life.
