In memory of
S. Abbas Raza
May 4, 2023
I am stunned and saddened to learn of Michael's passing. I am the editor of 3 Quarks Daily where Michael wrote a monthly column for the last two years. When he failed to turn in his column to me for the third time last week, I wrote to him and asked if he was okay. And when he did not respond for three days, I Googled his name and was brought here, to this page. I am so very sorry for your loss! At the moment, I am in a state of shock so don't know what to say except to wish his family and friends strength. My email is s.abbas.raza.1 [at] gmail [dot] if someone wants to contact me. Perhaps we could commemorate Michael's memory at 3 Quarks Daily. I am so sorry!

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of such a special soul. Michael filled the room with joy, laughter, mischief - and that was as a middle schooler. I was so lucky to learn from him, with him, and bask in the light that he shared with everyone around him.
I am so sorry for your loss. The world lost a fierce power for love and joy.

Dear Abraham Family,
Our hearts break with your hearts at the loss of your dear son, Michael. We have such fond memories of him when our boys were young. He was an extraordinary person, so talented with expression, funny and engaging, and the world is a sadder place without his light shining. May those joy filled memories give you strength and the power of grace sustain you at this most tender time of loss. Sending love, Mauzy family

May God give you great strength and comfort. Love you all. The McKeefry Family
P.S. He had really, really good hair.

"Perhaps grace is our tutor in love; perhaps the recognition of our commonality, our banality, our everydayness as subjects is the bridge to the world in which we come to celebrate and glory in our differences. Perhaps the reorientation I am... Read Michael Abraham's Obituary
