Unexpectedly, on Friday, April 14, 2006, age 38, of Whitehall. Beloved husband of Heather Shiff; father of Nigel, Ian, Sloan and Coral; son of Mary and the late Robert A. Armbruster Sr.; brother of Deborah (Chuck) Iorio, Elizabeth (Robert) Karl, Adrian (Deborah) Burke, Roberta (William) Allen, Robert A. Armbruster Jr. and Edward Armbruster; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the WM. SLATER & SONS INC., Virginia Ave and Kearsarge St., Mt. Washington. Funeral Service in the Presbyterian Church of Mt. Washington, Bailey Ave., Wednesday at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Armbruster children.

Dear Heather & family, our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. My heart was so saddened to learn of Michael's death. Even though we only saw one another at funerals, I felt anytime I did see him that there was never any time lost. He was a very special cousin to me. When I lived with Grandma Ann (during my college years), he use to always come over (as a 5-year old) to talk and play. I spent alot of time with him when he was young and he always made me laugh. I'd like to offer my condolences to Mike's family and friends. I didn't actually know Mike personally, but I knew of him years ago when I was in high school. This world is a sad place when tragedies such as this happen. May you find comfort that he is now flying with the angels and watching over you.
