Marion and i are sorry to hear that Mike has passed. Laura and Mike were good friends and neighbors in Summerville. Just like Mike and Laura, Marion and I were sweethearts for a long time before she passed last year. They are both missed, maybe we will meet them again.

I was 17 yrs old when Michael and Laura lived in my Kirkwood, MO neighborhood. We became friends- as I babysat for he and Laura's children.
Mike was influential in introducing me to Golf, showing me how to hit around the yard, etc. I have played now for 40 years, and it's been a big part of my life. He was someone I never have forgotten, and after soooo many years, I decided to look him up. Unfortunately, I found the Obituary, and wished I would have called him a few years ago.
I'm sure that Laura, is still a beautiful woman, so kind, and I hope Laura is doing okay with Mike's passing now. Please, if you read this, I'll be thinking about you, and just know that sometimes people leave long-lasting, wonderful impressions on others. He was one of those people, and I'll never forget him.
Love to your family, in his passing,
Rachel R Thompson, South Bend, IN

I was at Dorsey one year behind Mike. I sent Mike an email a couple days ago telling him that Ken Arsinian had passed away. Ken was the catcher when Bill pitched a game against Don Drysdale & they beat them!!
Mike & I both worked for Bill at JCPenney in the warehouse for several summers.
I didn´t know of Mike´s passing until today.
I remember that Mike &Bill´s dad holds the record for the longest DROP KICK field goal!!!

Reading Mike´s impressive biography, meeting him only a couple of times but more than anything knowing of Laura´s devotion to her college sweetheart, makes us wish to have known him better. With deep love and sympathy, Ceci & Rob Nobel
