Michael Bonar Obituary
He graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 2015 and was attending University of Idaho, where he was pursuing a degree in Virtual Technology and Design. Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, Walt Price. He is survived by his brother, Evan Bonar; sister, Elise Bonar; grandmothers, Helen Bonar and Darlene Price; grandfather, Clayton Bonar; aunts, Renee Christensen and Jess Price; and uncles, Steve Christensen and Kevin Price.
Michael loved all things art. Whether it be drawing, animating, or even playing and marching in his high school and college marching bands. But most of all he loved his Lord and Savior and his character showed this everyday.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Michael's name to PHAware (https://www.phaware.global) or PHAssociation (https://phassociation.org).
Friends and family can pay their respects at Mike's Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 9 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Ustick Baptist Church, 14301 W McMillan Rd, Boise, Idaho, 83713.
The funeral home was Horan & McConaty - SE Denver/Aurora, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Denver, (303) 745-4418.

I'm here to show that Michael didn't just touch those in his immediate vicinity. I knew Mike through the internet. I also knew him by his alias "Zaix"
Michael was a wonder friend, a generous business man, and a brilliant mentor. He taught me things about art that would have taken me YEARS to discover and learn on my own. I often sent him my art for his opinion on ways i could improve and he always gave me foundation I could build my skill up upon.
He touched the lives of those in his physical life, and his digital life. He was a member of the internet art community "Hyuns Dojo" there is a memorial on the youtube channel for him made for him by animators he had touched. all with messages and little gifts for him. it was also made along side another member who also died shortly after he did, so the collaboration was modified to include this other member, just a little info for those who go and wonder why there are two statues in the memorial and why it's called "Zaix+ AngelXMikey"
I was crushed to hear of his passing. A teacher, A friend, a gift giver, and a man who I will credit in every single animated art that I made.

My childhood would have never been the same without Mikey. I know that he changed my life for the better, and was one of my best friends. It's unfair how cruel life was to him when he only ever showed kindness. He will be truly missed

We wish we would have gotten to know Michael better and longer, but in the short time we did he was kind , a trooper , and a fighter. He is an inspiration to many and never complained around us. We have since studied more about pulmonary hypertension and have two more friends who have it. We pray more for a cure and empathy for those who have it. Love you Michael. See you in heaven.
