Michael Bria Obituary
Michael J. Bria, better known as "Mickey" passed away on November 24, 2013. Born in Port Chester, NY on July 21, 1946 he was 67 years old. Michael was pre deceased by his loving father Rocco Bria in 2011. Mickey is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Kim, his daughter Whitney, mothers Josephine Bria and Inez Antinozzi, Sisters Diana Newton and Debbie Antinozzi, brothers Ricky and Bobby Bria and many wonderful beloved nieces and nephews. Family was always so important to Mickey. Giving and receiving love and laughter from this special group of people was a constant source of joy thought out his life. While spending time with his family was important he also enjoyed racing pigeon's alongside his father out of the Greenwich and Stamford racing pigeon clubs. Mickey also took great pride in serving our country during the Vietnam War. He was not only a father to his daughter but also her best friend. Although his family is saddened by the loss of Mickey, they find comfort that he is now reunited with his "best pal" and father Rocky Bria. Family and Friends are invited to visit at the Castiglione Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26 from 5-9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Roch's Parish. Burial will be private. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.castiglionefh.com. Mickey to young to soon have a lot of good memories from when we were little such happy times. the funniest was when Mike and I got married and you asked him if he had a black suit he of course said yes and you said that you were looking around at the Aunts and Uncles and he was going to need one and that was your words o wisdom to Mike. you will be missed Rest in Peace Love Bonnie and Mike

My cousin, my friend and even, sometimes, my confidante. I think of all the dances at the "boys club", the dance contest we didnt win but gave it a damn good try. I still laugh when I think about it. The weekends at Grandma and Grandpa Bria's house. The shop you had in Stamford and how awesome it was. My God, how I will miss you. Even though we didn't speak often, but I knew you were there for me and hopefully, you knew that I was there for you. I can still here your laugh, soft yet so meaningful. I love you my dear cousin and fiend. No more pain. Just love

I have SOOOO many great memories of Mickey!! From our many times at the flats, playing Monopoly and waiting for the heat to come on to our teen age years where we went to the canteen and danced the night away!! And of course making packages and tapes to send to him in Viet Nam.I will always hold these memories close to my heart! I love you Mick!!!
