BURNETTE GERMANTON -- Michael Everette Burnette Oct. 25, 1956 - June 14, 2011 Mr. Michael Everette Burnette, 54, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at his home. He was born in Roanoke County, VA on October 25, 1956 to Clovis and Claire Marie Fortner Burnette. He was a self employed electrician. He attended North Woods Baptist church. A 3:00 p.m. funeral service will be held Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Burroughs Chapel with Rev. Jim Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Burnette. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Cindy Southern Burnette; two sons, Christopher Adam Burnette of the home and Michael Preston Burnette of Botetourt, VA, two grandsons, Alex and Michael; one brother, Mark Wayne Burnette and wife Charlotte of Salem, VA, one nephew, Jacob Burnette. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Burroughs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
