Michael Ruston CAPELLA May 22, 1962 - Sept. 19, 2015 After suffering a devastating farm accident, Michael passed away in Royal Columbian Hospital on Sat., Sept.19th. Mike was owner of Capella Farm and sold produce at the farm and market. Mike was a big man with a big heart. He is predeceased by his parents, Sylvia and Joe, his baby sister, and his older sister Carol Anne. He is survived by his aunt and uncle, Jean and George Capella, numerous cousins and special friends, including Harry Wood. A celebration of Mike's life will take place Tues., Oct. 6th, at Fraser Heights Chapel, 14835 Fraser Highway, Surrey, BC.

Our entire organization was saddened to hear of Mike's passing and although he had been sick for a while, he always remained positive & active on his farm. We enjoyed having him at our markets and hope that the farm will continue as his legacy.

So very sad to hear of Michael's tragic passing. Its hard to believe just eight short months ago Michael and his uncle, my husband Mike , shared a room on the 5th floor in hospital. It was two days before either knew who the other guy was behind the drawn curtain. R.I.P. Michael , no more trips to hospital.

Very sad to hear of Michael's tragic passing. Michael and I were in the same elementary school in Richmond. As a young boy, he helped his dad deliver produce to Super Value in Richmond Square Mall, one of many places I'm sure.
I invited Michael to several of my birthday parties that were usually held at Shakey's Pizza on Granville Ave. He really enjoyed the parties and I always felt good that he was there as well.
Rest in peace my old friend, you will be missed. May your memory be forever eternal.
