Surrounded by his loving family on April 28, 2013 at the age of 90. His extraordinary faith in God was a constant presence in his life and he lived each day with the Lord and has now finally come to rest. Husband of the late Mary Maguire Carey. Cherished father of Henrietta (Paul Cantwell), Michael (Donna Roscoe), Willie (Sharon Peachey), Maurice (Wendy Jocques), Kathy (the late Lawrence Talbot), Mary (Don Rolland) and the late Ann (Jim McKean). Loving grandfather of Michael, Maryann, Catherine, Peter, Melanie, Jamie, Brett, Jordan, Sarah, Joshua, Jacob, Kaley, Matthew, Erin and Adam and great- grandfather of six. Brother-in-law of Peter Petsanis (the late Bernadette Maguire). Cousin of Mary McGuire Talbot. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of the I.U.G.M. for their kindness and compassion. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly funeral home, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Eucharistic Celebration at St. Monica's Parish, 6405 de Terrebonne, on Thursday, May 2 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at the Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
