Michael Thomas Chalifoux

CHALIFOUX, Michael Thomas, 67, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord with his family by his side, Monday, November 3, 2014. He leaves behind family and friends who will remember forever how he touched their lives. Survivors include his childhood sweetheart who became his loving wife of 46 years, Laurie; his devoted children, Noelle Dunlap and her husband, Jonathan, Michael Chalifoux and his wife, Alyssa; the best five grandchildren ever, two brothers, Bob and Chris Chalifoux; four sisters, Ann and Rose Chalifoux, Kathleen Chalifoux-Tactikos and Marguerite LaBarbera; and his loyal personal assistant from 1983 until his death, Margaret Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret; and a sister, Peggy. After graduation from Notre Dame, Mike enjoyed a long financial career, including over 20 years at Circuit City, where he founded FNANB, the credit division of Circuit City. He retired in 2003 as Senior Vice President and CFO and was a true advocate and friend to the people who worked for him. Mike's greatest legacy is his selfless generosity.
