Dearest Sue, Scott, Todd and Family
My heart hurts for you. What a shock!! When I read the obituary, the part that mentioned that Mike was known for his "kind heart, gentleness, love, humor and a true Friend," touched me deeply. It brought back a memory of when Wayne and I first moved to Belair Dr. One of the neighbors had a fondue party so that we could all get to know each other better. Lots of different tables with many fondues to try and they separated spouses so we could meet those neighbors we hadn't met. I was totally out of my "comfort zone" and I guess it showed on my face, because when I sat with Mike at any table, he looked after me as if I were a frightened kitten. (I was) Mike was a wonderful friend and it always warmed my heart when I saw him out doing errands. Can't wait to see him in eternity.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Hugs, Rose and Wayne

To the Cromie Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, it's been many years since I've seen him but remember him as always being such a outgoing all around nice guy. Many good memories of growing up in Colchester, friendships and sports and being around your family as a kid. Best wishes to all of you during this difficult time.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Mike for many years and in many departments at Sears.
Mike always spoke with such love for his family. He always seemed larger than life, so it seems impossible that he is no longer with you on this earth.
He treated all of his employees with kindness, fairness and provided great wisdom. Our Sears family is missing him greatly. We will always remember his irrepressible big smile and heart.

I worked at Shelburne Rd Sears 1979 -80 when Mr Cromie was the asst store manager covering soft goods I believe, Always enjoyed him stopping by on his strolls. He was a fair caring manager with a dry sense of humor, just an all around nice guy. I have never forgotten him.

Mr Cromie was my neighbor on maple ridge drive, I grew up coming to see him and Mrs Cromie. I am deeply saddened that I always thought of them both but never got in touch. I will never forget his smile, his soft tone, and how he would welcome any one into his home.
To the family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. He will be remembered by many, and I will always think of him when I pull down the street and pass by one of the places he called "home".
Sincerely, Jordan (Schnabel) Bushway
