So sorry to hear this. I knew Mike back in the 80's in Hamilton and he quickly became a great friend to me and my 2 kids. He sometimes took them to school in his Pontiac Firebird - a big thrill for the kids. We genuinely loved him, but lost touch when he left NZ.

Heartfelt condolences to you Ann, Gen and Benji.
I knew Mike from the Double M Disco days, and he along with James, were my saviours when I so needed saving back in the day. It was so long ago he´d not have remembered me, but through my life I´ve always been thankful for them both.
No words can express my thanks to this man and it´s beautiful to read that his life was filled with love.
May you all find some peace and please know you have people around who are sending you love and blessings.

He was my darling of 24 years, Benji´s adored Dada of 9 years. We will miss you soooo much. We can´t believe it.
