Michael Ray Dixon, Jr., 58, of Gainesboro, TN, passed away on December 24th in his home. Michael was born on February 6th, 1964 to Michael and Barbara Dixon in Fairfield, Texas. Mike spent his youth in Texas before moving to Florida where he married his loving wife, Molly, in 1994. After raising their two children, Amber and Blake, Mike and Molly relocated to Gainesboro, where they have resided since 2014. For 34 years, Mike worked as an electrician and most recently served as an Electrical Project Operations Manager at D&D Enterprises in Cookeville, TN. He was well-respected and known for his loyalty, good nature, and laid back sense of humor; he was a beloved friend to many in Texas, Florida, and Tennessee. Mike was preceded in death by both of his parents, Barbara and Michael, his sister Sheila, his step-father, Frank Kimball, and parents-in-law, Ronald and Sandra Schuster. Mike is survived by his wife, Molly, two children, Amber Estlund and Blake Estlund (Stephanie), his granddaughter-the apple of his eye-Annslee Estlund, his sisters, Dana Svatopolsky (Dean) and Shannon Kimball, his sister-in-law, Heidi Schuster, and niece, Leighann Svatopolsky. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30th at Presley Funeral Home in Cookeville. Visitation will be from 4pm-6pm with a service beginning at 6pm.
