Dear Dimatteo family,
I'm saddened to learn about Michael Nick's passing. We talked a month or so ago and he had told me he wanted to try to fight the cancer as long as he possibly was able. God intervened with a different plan, so I know Heaven has gained a WONDERFUL angel. I will miss hearing from him, but I know we'll be rejoined again someday. We'll catch up on our family talkconversations then. He loved my mom dearly and always checked in on her. She'll be broken hearted to hear of his passing, too.
You'll be in my thoughts and thoughts and may God embrace each family member during this time of loss. He and his contagious smile will truly be missed.

Dear Chris...
I'm one of Nick's cousins in NC and wanted you to know that I'm so saddened to hear of his passing. He called me from time to time to chat and he had told me he was fighting cancer as long as he possibly could...yes he was a fighter, for sure...Heaven has gained a WONDERFUL person. Even though, we only communicated via phone mostly, we still cherished that "LEMONS" family bond that will forever be in my heart. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and May God embrace you and your family during this time of loss. I will miss hearing from him, but know that we'll catch up with each other someday when I join him in Heaven.
