Hello Ann and Family,
I just heard the news of Mike's passing and am grieved at your great loss. From the first time I met Mike, I fell in love with his many stories and dedication to the Lord. Michael was a great example of what a Christian life should be like and he lived it to the fullest. He was truly a Man of God and a Brother in Christ. I have memories of your visit to Edmonton and river rafting with Mike. You folks will always stay in my heart as a beautiful loving couple. May God grant you and your family His comfort and support as you move on with your life. My heart and love goes out to all of you. God Bless you all.

Mike always had such a positive attitude. His smile and joy were contagious. We loved listening to stories he told us.
Can't wait to see you in heaven where we'll never need to say goodbye again.

Papa D,
You always made me laugh whenever we spoke. You taught me about the lord and made sure to do your best to keep us "young people" safe. You told me aliens are angels and that God was ALWAYS watching! You made me feel welcome in your home and gave me a second family when I was a young girl. I am privileged to have gotten to know such a Jesus filled man. May you enjoy your new life in God's kingdom. One day we will meet again and I'm sure you will have plenty of new stories for me!
Lots of love,

Hi Anne,

My memory of Mike was the time we visited your house over 30 years ago now. I remember it was the first time I ever tasted New York pizza delivered to your house as we didn't have that sort of thing in England in 1981. It was delicious and I have been hooked ever since. Now we have lots of pizza delivery places in England and every time I eat pizza, I think of the first time I tried it at your house. That is my happy memory of Mike and yourself

Dear Ann,

My wife Judy and I regret Mike's departure to our heavenly Father, yet we rejoice in the ministries Mike accomplished or – in some lives – started.

For only two or three weeks he visited us here in Croatia, and we witnessed for our Lord Jesus in various settings, with our prime target being policemen and border guards. That was in the spring of 1997, I believe.

To date I only know of one policeman who has come to Christ and is still living for him, though that occurred long after Mike's visit. I told this fellow about Cops for Christ.

Yours in our Lord Jesus,
Gene & Judy Whiting, Croatia

Dear Ann and family,
I find myself thinking of you all often and continue to pray that the Lord's strength and comfort surrounds you each day. I was so blessed to hear Mike speak years ago when I was a young Christian. I admired his and your dedication to the faith and kingdom minded hearts. He certainly has been an example to so many & will be missed dearly. Thankful his legacy continues thru his family and look forward to all being united one day! Much love and big hugs, Lorrie

Mythoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. I couldn't help but remember the time you spent here a few years ago and how the kids responded to Mike. He was a very special man! I will miss seeing him each year at SGT. Much love, Ann!

From the first day we met Mike here in Belfast, Northern Ireland, we fell in love with him. He had us laughing one minute and then crying the next as he shared his stories about serving in the NYPD.

There are people, from both Catholic and Protestant backgrounds in Ireland (north and south) who are following Christ today, because God used Mike to touch their hearts and to make that decision.

On a personal note, Mike became a great friend. We loved the times he stayed in our home, and equally loved those times when we stayed with Mike and Ann in their home, with some memorable times driving across America together to minister or to meet friends in Louisiana or New York. Glad we got to spend one more visit with him just a few months before his home call.

Hey Mike! You knew a lot when it came to the "End Times", but now you know more than you ever did! Thanks for touching many lives and for touching our lives. You are one in a million!

We love you Ann and family.
God bless

Dear Ann,
So sorry for your great loss, but happy for
Mike's gain of being in Heaven with Jesus, whom he loved and served so much.

We only knew you all a short time but, believe me, Mike made a huge impression and difference in my life as a follower of Jesus Christ. There was something about his love of Jesus that just touched me deeply. I loved his Sunday Bible Study.

You have so much to live and look forward to--because Mike is waiting at the river
to greet you when God says "Come on Home, you good and faithful servant" as he did with Mike on that October day.

I am just hearing the news and am grieved.

“Get excited, do a two-step, for truly this is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in him”. While I rejoice with my brother that he is now doing a two-step with the Lord, my heart grieves with Ann, Michael, Doug and Jonathon, with the loss of a husband, a father, a grandfather and a dear friend. Mike has always been an inspiration in my life and walk with the lord, his many words of praise, excitement and encouragement in the Lord, will always echo in my head. Mike fought the good fight and he finished the race, he lived his life as an example to us all of how Christ would want us to live, he did not just speak it he lived it. Mike will be truly missed by us all.

Love,

Dear Ann We have many fond memories of Mike. He was a special person and we were blessed to get to know you and him. We will never forget him coming to the hospital and praying for Randy when he was in Afib. As soon as he did, the Afib was corrected! We have many precious memories of our time with the church family at Hernando and Inverness. May God comfort and bless you and your family. With love and prayers
