Michael Dudek Obituary
Born on Dec. 4, 1947, in Patterson, N.J., he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (McFarland) Dudek.
A graduate of Randolph High School in Randolph, N.J., he lived in Garfield, N.J., moving to the Poconos in 1986. He worked for the Nabisco/Kraft Company for 22 years, retiring in 2006. He then worked for Weichert Realty until the present.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1106, Stroud Township, and the Loyal Order of Moose 1336, Stroud Township. He was also a member of the Pocono Realtors Association.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Michele Daniels and her husband, Peter, of Bushkill and Jennifer Dudek and her fiance, Shaun Kunz, of Cresco; three grandchildren who were the "apples of his eye," Ian, Jacob and Meadow; a brother, John Dudek and his wife, Jillian, of Bushkill; a sister-in-law, Jackie Jones of Lake Hiawatha, N.J.; three nieces and one nephew.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, in the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Nathan Kollar officiating. Private burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, N.J.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to the Monroe Animal League, P.O. Box 23, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.

Mike was such a legacy at Kraft.... He will be missed greatly and we're very sorry for your loss. I traveled many times with Mike and he was known as the expert in die design at Kraft and of course a great guy all around. He was so kind and always a pleasure to talk to, he took out the time to say hi and just a quick little chat/update when he could. And yes we heard about those little darlings of his, they were great pride and joy to him.

I will never forget Mike. His name apears on so many drawings that I see daily. Each time I see that name I am reminded of his unique approach to the daily dramas we worked through. His dry sense of humour and delivery of just the right line at the right time often placed things into perspective. He added color to our dull "Dilbert" lives. He was good to me and taught me the "tricks of the trade" when he passed over his knowledge of cookie cutter design. That he shared this knowledge was a sign of his good ethics and revealed to me much of the man he was. We all admired his ardent determination to overcome his first illness and were astounded when he returned to the office to work. As soon as we at Kraft/Nabisco became aware of the loss of Mike I received numerous emails reflecting on the sadness of his passing. Pattie, God Bless you, you knew the good man the most and my heart goes out to you at your loss. Michelle and Jennifer be sure and tell stories about your dad to your children, in this way he will be immortal.

Dear Pat, Michele, and Jenny. I had been your neighbor for 11+ years. Best friends with Jenny for the same amount, since the night I moved in. I basically lived at your house majority of my life and got the pleasure of getting to know everyone like my own family. Mike was like my father, since my father was always at work, I saw a lot more of Mike than my own. I remember all the funny times we shared, his humor was halarious and will always be missed. I remember the times that he would even punish me for shenanigans that I pulled. I remember this one time Jenny and I was singing "God Must of spent a little more time on You" by Nsync and he was right there to kill our hopes and dreams of being a singer and told us we sucked. Hahaha! Oh man. I miss him so much already. If there is anything I can do, I am only a phone call away.
