I never met Shane in person. I met him through his art. I can´t remember exactly the first time I came across his `work´, but it made me happy and made me smile. His photoshops inspired me because I had a special kind of warped humor (or, so I thought). Nothing, however, could touch his masterpieces.
He seemed to be very busy with weddings and real estate photography, so I wondered how he could find the time to create the very detailed photoshops featuring himself and various critters such as squirrels or cats. They were so funny, and incorporated art, current events, or scenes from his every day life. Sometimes he would composite his daughters in them. I considered them art and brought me a lot of joy when I was struggling with my own editing workload. Shane was a blessing and I am sorry he is no longer with the ones who were closest to him because I admired his talents from afar.
Life is difficult, I pray we can all find the peace that will keep us together as long as possible.

I met Shane accidentally when looking for a real estate photographer. I immediately liked his quirky and dry humour and had many excellent conversations with him walking around properties while he was shooting. When he decided to move out of town I was sad because I knew he could not be replaced. I was honored when he and Karla picked me to market and sell their home. The world has lost a unique soul. And on another note, a friend who is a wedding photographer told me Shane was one of the best in Louisville which is a high honor. I loved his creativity and his oddball creations. I will continue to miss him.

Shane was one of a kind. I had the honor to know him and to work with him. He always kept me on my toes when it came to following his humor. He was always so helpful to me and my business. I truly miss my friend! Rest easy Shane.
