Michael "Mike" F. Rossetti, 66, resident of East Boston, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the Beth Israel Deaconess surrounded by family and close friends following a brief and unexpected illness.

Originally from Chelsea, Massachusetts, Mike attended Chelsea High School in his prime years. After High School, he took a position with Rodman Trucking, before eventually joining the wonderful Catalano Family Trucking business, where he worked until he retired. He enjoyed spending his time surrounded by friends and family guessing lucky numbers and horses.

He leaves his two daughters, Amanda and her husband James Dunn of Peabody and Crystal and her husband Marc Aslor of Tewksbury. Mike has 4 grandchildren he also leaves behind.

Mike is predeceased by his parents Rita 'Caron' Rossetti and Pasquale Rossetti of Chelsea.

He is survived by his sister Karen and her husband Larry Keene of Billerica, his brother Richard and his wife Ana Rossetti of Wilmington and sister Patricia Buckley of Chelsea. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Mike also left behind his caring and devoted partner Patricia Alphonse residing in East Boston.

We wish to celebrate Mike's life and impact on many close friends and family with a graveside ceremony on Tuesday, June 25th at 10am at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, MA. Please join us immediately following for a gathering at the Merritt Club in Chelsea, MA to do what Mike loved and enjoyed the most, laughter and eating good food surrounded by each others company.

Mike was a great stand up guy. I knew him for over 35 years and we engaged in lots of good conversation at the Merritt club in past years. I am unable to attend the services but I wish to pass on my deepest condolences to Patricia and the rest of the family. May he rest in eternal peace.

The first memory I have of Mike was at his brother Ricky´s wedding rehearsal dinner.
His dad was adding salt to the coffee grounds which I thought was crazy. But Pasquale and Mike schooled me on how salt enhanced the flavor of the coffee.
He will be missed tremendously.
And I´ve been putting salt in my coffee grounds ever since.
