Michael Richard Factor

Mike was a relatively new acquaintance of mine. We would have weekly Jazz listening/discussion sessions at my house and other friends' houses,cand each week a different person would feature an artist of their choice. Mike was always full of information about the great music he played for us. More imprtantly he was always a warm, kind-hearted guy with a positive attitude despite his health challenges. I grew to be quite fond of Mike. I will miss him. I do miss him.

Enjoyed the occasional times I took him to various listening sessions with other jazz lovers, to Kravis for a jazz concert where he had free tix, to the Arts Garage to check out current performers. He was always open to new sounds and a conversationalist with wonderful memories of past jazz greats. Maxine and I really dug him.

Rest in Jazzy peace, Fabulous, and thanks for every song.
