Michael Feinstein Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 31, 2024.
Michael Matthew Feinstein

A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son and brother.

Mike (57) was born on March 22, 1967, in Washington, D.C. and was the beloved son of Jack Feinstein and Rosemary Anne Feinstein (Kaiser). He passed away peacefully at his home in West Valley City, Utah on December 22, 2024.

Mike was laughter, kindness, generosity, love and compassion in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing has left a profound emptiness in the hearts and lives of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the impact he had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Mike married the love of his life and soul mate Stacy Feinstein (Low) on February 20, 1997 and together they raised (barely surviving) two children.

Mike is survived by his loving wife Stacy, his children: Tanesia, Sharnae and his honorary daughter, Tiana; his grandchildren: Dakoda, Esabelle, Ellianna and Everlee; his great grandchildren: Arieanna and Amilia, his brother Mark, his sisters Sherry and Annie, his honorary brother Rob (Tina) from Chicago (Florida) and his nephew who is more like a son, Christopher.

Mike was a simple man, he enjoyed traveling loved and adored his family but honestly felt most at home in his semi truck, driving for over 25+ years and over 1 million miles. His OTR family was very close knit and the stories of their times together will forever be a source of laughter and at times made his wife cringe but grateful for their bond.

May his memory bring love, laughter and comfort to all who knew him.

Per Mike's wishes, his family has chosen not to have funeral services at this time and will have a celebration of life at a later date.

It's hard to put into words what Mikey means to me. There is nobody like him. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to drive a Semi Truck again. My heart hurts . His sense of humor was amazing. I have so many Mikeisims' that I use on a daily basis. I will forever miss his cheesy grin, and his matter of fact of the cuff remarks. The ONLY way I can sum up Mikey. He is my Brother. Rest in Paradise. Until we meet again. I Love You.
