Michael D. Feldner, 70, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. Born March 27, 1942 in Van Wert, OH, he retired in 2002 after 38 years as a truck driver for US Food Service. He was a member of Avalon Missionary Church and Teamsters Local Union 414. Surviving are his wife, Elaine Feldner, of Fort Wayne; daughter, Shelly White, of Plymouth; step children, Elaine Trim; Stewart (Tina) Horn; and Evon (Scott) Mumma, all of Fort Wayne and Edward (Rose) Horn II, of NC; thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Alma Feldner; sister, Carole Feldner; brother, Lowell "Butch" Feldner and best friend, Buddy. Funeral Service is 11:00 am Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Rd. Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. Visitation is 4-7 pm Monday at the funeral home. Michael was my husband we knew each other at Central High School but,did not meet again until 1988 we married in '91.We did get to celebrate 21 yrs of marriage on 6-1-12.He passed away just 6 days later.I want to thank all the people that have posted memories on here.I'm sorry I didn't get to meet alot of you.

My memory of Mike is he was an usher in our wedding in 1962 June 9th and my wife and I just celebrated our 50th. He and I grew up together running around Sweeney Park. I will never forget him. To the family you have our sympathy.
