Michael "Mike" Franklin Ford, 80, passed away on March 17, 2024, in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born on January 21, 1944, in Chicago, IL. Mike was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the US Army for 3 years.

He had a successful career in auto parts sales and was known for his passion for aviation, car racing, and football.

Beloved husband and father, Mike is survived by his wife, Gloria "Beanie" Ford; daughter Tracy (Joe) Young ; step-grandson, Justin Young; sister, Julia (Gerry) Raymond; brother-in-law, Jeff (Julie) Pitts; sister-in-law, Pam Pitts; niece, Keeley Pitts; nephews, Kyle (Paw) Pitts, Cody Pitts, and Chase Pitts; great-nephew, Terry Pitts; and great-niece, Jaqi Pitts. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Bachman and stepfather, Ralph Bachman.

Private family services will be held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Contributions in Mike's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Nashville Humane Association.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Hermitage Memorial Gardens in Old Hickory, Tennessee.

Mike,Beanie and Traci were neighbors back in 70´s. Great folks and we´re so sorry for your loss!
Mike was a great, fun loving guy!
The first time i met him he had driven a kids
Big Wheel down his driveway and crashed it through a row of hedges! I said this is my kind of man!
