GREENSBORO — Mr. Michael Scott Frogge, 41, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at High Point Regional Medical Center.
A service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Daystar Christian Fellowship with the Reverend Allen Holmes officiating.
Scott was born in Kansas City, Kansas on April 30, 1969 and was a graduate of the University of Missouri. While at Missouri he earned a bachelors degree in Psychology and was a brother in Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. After college Scott continued his education by obtaining certification in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training at Missouri Southern. After completing his education, Scott began working in pharmaceutical sales and was employed by Parke-Davis, Pfizer, Schering-Plough, and Merck throughout his career.
Scott was an avid Missouri Tigers fan and loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs. He always began the day with a large cup of Starbucks coffee while in the hot tub at his home. One of Scott's passions was being the biggest fan of his children and priding himself on never missing any of their school activities, athletic events, or dance recitals. He loved working in the yard, projects around the house, playing golf and challenging his wife to tennis.
He is survived by his wife, Molly Frogge of the home; children, Margaret "Maggie" Frogge and Michael Scott Frogge II of Greensboro; parents, Dr. Jim and Susie Frogge of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers, Dr. Mark and wife Leigh Frogge of Joplin, Missouri and Greg and wife Elain of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; mother-in-law Sally Burns of Charlotte; father-in-law, Monty and wife Linda Burns of Charlotte; brother-in-law, Brian and wife Carissa Burns of Belmont, sister-in-law, Jennifer and husband Dr. John Longshore of Charlotte, nieces, Emma Leigh and Caroline Frogge, Hannah and Lindsey Frogge, Ashleigh Burns and Anna Longshore; nephews, Sean Burns and Luke Frogge.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel and from 3 until 4 p.m., Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Daystar Christian Fellowship.
Online condolences may be made to www.forbisanddick.com.

Thank you...for all of the support, prayers and love. Father's Day was a very hard day to get through, but I reminded Maggie and Michael that their Daddy dedicated his life to them. His legacy, smile, laugh, and spirit will live on in them.

It's obvious, with the amount of kind words that have been posted of Scott's impact on the people he knew - it's a tribute to his sincerity and kindness as a person.
It's amazing all of the great childhood memories that have been coming back to me over the last few days. Scott will be missed.
To Molly, the kids and the Frogge family, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. You have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Molly, Maggie and Michael -
Scott was a dear friend of mine for over 30 years. So many wonderful memories and stories. Scott was a very special person who could light up the room with his huge smile. He was genuine, kind and sincere and he had time for everybody. An all around great guy. I cannot say how much Scott has done for all of us that had the opportunity to know him. He is an example of who we should all try to and live up to. I send my deepest heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
All my love. Duke

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I love you Frogger. There are no words to describe how I feel or what I should say because no matter what I say, I will leave out so much. God I love you big guy. This can't be real. We all lose touch because we sometimes take for granted that we will see each other again. How foolish I am to have fallen into doing that with you. You are simply the best. Looking at your picture is exactly what I remember most about you. You were always happy, smiling, and yet, I always thought of you as almost bulletproof... a pillar of physical and mental strength. To Molly and your children, I am so sorry. Rely on God... remain strong in faith. I will be praying for you. To Dr. and Mrs. Frogge...I love you both and I thank you for raising such a wonderful son that I was blessed to call my friend.(More importantly, I was blessed that he considered me his friend. To the rest of the Frogge family (and to the family on Molly's side), my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I will miss you forever, Big Guy.

Words just cannot express how sorry we are to hear of this tragic loss. Scott was an amazing person. We have been friends since the 7th grade and I am heart broken. I introduced Scott to my husband 14 or 15 years ago and they've been friends ever since. There has been an outpouring of prayers, love, shock, funny memories, and so much more on Facebook by many of us who grew up with Scott, and many who didn't, that there is no doubt he was loved and will be greatly missed. We are so sorry for your loss and will be praying for you all.
