Michael Lamont Green departed this life Sunday October 18, 2015 in Orangeburg S.C.
He was born April 23, 1973 in York, the son of Rose Casseus and Joe Jamison.
Michael attended York City Schools and York Vo-Tech. He worked for several years at Washington & Dowling Construction Company.
Michael loved to sing and was a member of the Mighty Aires Gospel group.
He is also survived by nine children, Darcell Durr, Michael Green, Amber Jackson, Malaysha Green, Monique Green, Jahmier Murray, Semaj Green, Arionna McMculler, Akeeya Green; two sisters, Aleabrus Jamison and Shandrian Jamison; two brothers, Joquan Jamison, and Lewis Jamison; a loving companion Wanda Clark; maternal grandmother Gwendolyn Hollis; paternal grandmother Rose McMillan.
Viewing will be held Saturday 9 to 11 a.m. with service to follow at First St. John's Lutheran Church 140 W. King St. York, with Pastor Robert Jamison officiating. Arrangements by Phillips Funeral Home, P.A. Baltimore, Maryland.

Just heard about you transitioning in the arms of your heavenly father. I remember when I first met you Mike, you asked me to purchase one of your CD's and I did, then you hit me the next Sunday for another. Today, a month later to hear about your sudden death take me back to you singing in church what I thought was one of your favorite songs "One More Chance" as I began to listen to the CD, in the lyrics you ask the for another chance to get yourself together and knowing you Mike I know that if there was an opportunity your last words would have been uttered to the Lord.....I believe in my heart that you were definitedly someone that God held very dear to his heart. Whats good lil bro...6 yrs or so we slept side by side on a floor, no bed for us. Laughing or crying because most likely because i got a beatin from mom (no holds barred : ). Then all those yrs as a young buc watching uncle hand you the mic to sang my favorite "Starting all over again". Then getting older asking you to shut up because you kept taking all the ladies...but you didn't and I'm glad because i wouldn't have all these wonderful nieces and nephews. Sunday -tue was ok for me ,preoccupied to avoid the pain. Then i went to see lil Mike and its now so rough for me...i knew you all my life, now you gone man..i cant hear you sang no more
