Michael A Grieco

Michael A. Grieco, 84, of Crest Hill IL, passed away on November 16, 2023, in Naperville at Edwards Hospital. Born on May 20, 1939, in Chicago, IL, Michael was a strong-willed and intelligent man who fought bravely against cancer for over three years. Despite his best efforts, he peacefully succumbed to the disease, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and determination.

Michael had a passion for knowledge and spent countless hours engrossed in books and exploring the depths of the internet. His mechanical talents were unmatched, and he possessed a unique ability to fix anything that crossed his path. For three decades, Michael served as a driver for Yellow Freight, finding fulfillment in his work. After retiring, he cherished the additional years he had to spend with his loved ones.

Michael is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Dianne Grieco, and his beloved daughter, Melinda Rivera, and her husband Michael Rivera. His love and kindness will forever be cherished by his family.

A private visitation was held at Modell Funeral Home in Darien Il to honor Michael's life. Following the visitation, Michael was cremated, and his final resting place is at Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
