A SERVICE at All Saints' Church, Clipstone, preceded burial at the village cemetery of Mr Frederick Dennis Stone (71) of Third Avenue, Clipstone.Born at Mansfield Woodhouse and educated at Broomhill and Rosemary Street schools, Mansfield, he was a life-long resident of the area.An underground face worker at Clipstone Colliery from the age of 15 until retirement in 1993, he enjoyed coarse and trout fishing, was a life-long hobby match secretary for Clipstone Angling Club, a member of Nottingham Piscatorial Society, where he was committee member, past President and Honorary Life Member, collected war memorabilia -especially aeroplanes and music and also liked spending time with his family and friends.Mr Stone, who died at King's Mill Hospital, Sutton, was pre-deceased by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Stone and leaves daughters Mandy and Lisa and grandchildren Matthew, Callie-Ann and Oliver.Mourners were Mrs M. and Mrs A.
