Randolph R. Talbert "Randy" CHARLOTTE - Randolph R. Talbert "Randy", 80 years old, from Charlotte, North Carolina, died Sunday, February 22, 2015, at home after a long illness. Randy was born November 26, 1934, in Manhattan, New York to Clyde and Helen Talbert. Predeceased by sister and brothers, Ernestine, Ulis (Bubba), Sonny, and Thomas. Also predeceased his wife Clara Fair married on January 14, 1989 until her time of death and Lucille Pinckney married from 1956 to 1987. Randy graduated from Prospect School #40 in the Bronx, NY in 1950 and enlisted in the US Army in 1953 were he received the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Metal and the Medal of Good Conduct. Randy retired from UPS on April 1, 2009, and was a member of the Elks Ideal lodge #470 in Englewood, NJ. Randy is survived by his sister Anita Jones-husband (Otto Jones), sons Glenn, Andy, Marcus, step-son Ray Fair-wife (Donna), daughters LaVerne McNeil-husband (Bryant), Tonda Talbert-husband (Ron Abney), step-daughter Pat Lloyd-husband (Otis), six grandchildren, 15 and a half great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Georgia Mae Little and a host of nephews, nieces, friends and his beloved pet Mitsy.
