Mike you were one of the best dudes I had the pleasure of knowing. I don´t know what tragedy took you from us but you will be missed dearly! May the blessings of the next chapter receive you spirit with peace and love and understanding that few on the planet can actually provide. Dang a good soul taken to soon! To the family I morn with you and pray for us both.

We first met Michael about 11 years ago when he and our daughter were dating. About a year later, I got a phone call and he asked for my permission to marry my daughter Amber. In the following years, we got to know Hurley well. We visited them in Seattle, they met us in Las Vegas and he came to Finland to meet my wife's side of the family. We took Seahawks flag about 100 miles north of the arctic circle and he and I got to know each other and talked alot. We grew to love Michael's spirit and sense of humor. When our daughter fell ill during the trip, Michael never left her side for days and he earned my respect. We loved Michael very much, not just for what he meant to our daughter but also for his personality and spirit. In the many chapters in my book of life, he was one of my favorites. The brightest flames sometimes don't burn as long, but the light they provide is never forgotten. We love you Michael. Rest at peace and know you were loved so very much by so many.

I loved him so much. He made me a better writer and person. He and his then girlfriend would spend several days at our house. I will miss him so much. He was my Wii sports friend. I would often awaken after a night of playing feeling like I had been dragged behind a horse and carriage because we were both so competitive. My heart breaks for his family. I love you all and hope that you heal quickly as life is short. Too short.

I miss him every day and I know my daughter Amber will always love him! He was like a son to me and loved my daughter with all his heart. I loved that he loved going to the theater as much as I did. Rest my son and give Finn a big hug from grandma.

We are so incredibly sorry to hear of Michael´s passing. Our love goes out to the family. May his light live on in your hearts & memories.

We are saddened to hear of Michael´s passing and of your family´s loss. He was a great guy, loved by us all.

I was incredibly sad to hear about Hurley's passing. I'm sending my condolences to all of his loved ones.
He was one of my closest friends in college and we continued to stay in touch and see each other even though we lived far apart at times.
I have many fond memories with him. Hanging out at the Emigrant, floating the Yakima, and Mariners games were unforgettable times. I'm grateful that he was able to visit me while I lived in Thailand.
I'll miss watching sports with him. His commentary was always superb and rivalled any professional sportscaster.
I'll also miss joking around and having someone that would always remember references to our favorite TV, movies and music.
Rest in peace my dear friend.

I will always remember Michael for hos quick wit and kindness toward others. You know you were my favorite.

Hurley will be greatly missed. He was a very large part of Amber's life, and she in his. I know she was there with him through everything right up until the end. I am so very sorry for everyone's loss. I hope he and Finnegan are reunited and he is at peace
