On Thursday, September 8, 2005, age 81 of East McKeesport. Mike retired from U.S. Steel, Edgar Thompson Works, and was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran; a son of the late Paul and Anna (Vasil) Labik; husband of the late Jane E. (Rizzo) Labik; beloved father of Michael P. (Angela) Labik; Janet A. (late Patrick) Mohn and Carol M. Yarkovsky; dear grandfather of Michael and Gina Labik; David A and Adam Yarkovsky; brother of the late Mary Sarik, Anna Zitnik, George, John, Paul and Susan Labik; brother-in-law of Louise Labik; nieces & nephews. Friends received at ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding (412)824-4332 on Saturday from 5-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4; and 7-9 PM. Service in the funeral home on Monday at 9:00 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellamine Church at 10:00 AM.
