I'm struggling to find the words to describe the incredible impact Mike had on this world. Not just on me, but on so many people. He has left an amazing legacy of scientists, researchers, teachers, doctors - the list goes on and on. His enthusiasm and curiosity about the world was infectious and I do my best to pass on that same joy in learning and discovery to my own students. An extraordinary man who will be globally missed.
