Michael Lindner, 79, of Rancho Murieta, CA. passed away on February 13, 2024. He was born on December 15, 1944, in Richmond, CA. Michael, known to his loved ones as "Mike", was a kind man with a great sense of humor and a deep love for his family.

Mike attended Harry Ells High School, graduating with the class of 1962. Mike went on to graduate from Contra Costa College in 1964. Mike then proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict, onboard the USS Bon Homme Richard from 1966-1968.

In 1972, Mike married the love of his life, Deborah (Williams) Lindner. Mike first met Deborah in high school, where he was close friends with her older brother, Gary Williams. Together, Mike and Deb built a happy family and a life filled with love and laughter. Mike was a loving and devoted father to their sons Zachary and Christopher. As a father, Mike was heavily involved with his son's youth sports throughout the years.

After his military service, he dedicated 30 years of his life to a career with the Union 76 Oil company as a sales analyst. Later, he continued working in the petroleum industry as an account manager before retiring to Rancho Murieta.

In his leisure time, Mike enjoyed a variety of hobbies. In his younger years, he was active in motorcycle riding, spear fishing, diving for abalone, water skiing and more. As time passed, he found joy in snow skiing and golfing, activities he loved sharing with his sons. Mike was also an avid sports fan who loved watching and attending games with his family.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Deborah, his children Zachary and Christopher (daughter-in-law Dawn) and his cherished grandson Davis Lindner. Mike was especially fond of being a Grandfather to Davis, spending quality time together brought them both so much joy.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Carl "Vern" Lindner, his mother Hazel Lindner and his sister Joyce Stanley.
